Romans 3In Romans 3, Paul continues to lay out his case for Christ. Both "Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin." (v.9) NONE of us are righteous. We humans are a pretty pathetic lot!"All have turned away, they have together become worthless, there is no one who does good, not even one. Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know. There is no fear of God before their eyes." Romans 3:12-18Look around at the world today and you can see that this passage from Romans 3 is true. We ALL need to be saved from our sinfulness. And that redemption comes through Jesus Christ, who God presented "as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of His blood -- to be received by faith."
