UNITY IN THE BODY OF CHRIST does not mean that we agree about every little thing.
Unity in the body of Christ is not about our opinions. It is not something that is accomplished in our MINDS.
True Unity in the body of Christ happens only through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.
It isn’t something that WE DO at all. We don’t need to agree with EACH OTHER. We only must agree with the HOLY SPIRIT.
We agree that we want God’s WILL (regardless of that is).
We agree that GOD IS TRUTH.
We agree that God is infallible, sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient, and worthy of our worship.
We agree that Jesus is God come in the flesh. We agree that we are saved only by the blood of JESUS.
We agree that JESUS IS LORD.
That is enough.
