The hardships of life either break us or build us… sometimes they do both.
Jesus builds. He can take those broken parts within us and build them into something beautiful.
This is the sanctification process, becoming more like Jesus.
We have to go through Jesus-like experiences to get there.
God, in His infinite wisdom, sometimes allows such situations in order for that to happen.
There can be purpose behind our pain. There is redemption and healing. He builds!
“…we also rejoice in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. THIS HOPE WILL NOT DISSAPPOINT US, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:3-5
