Many Christians have this mistaken idea that God has promised to give US victory in our lives… some of us act like God OWES us this “victory.” (I mean, He PROMISED… right?!)
No. Actually He didn’t promise any such thing.
Jesus Christ already won the victory over sin and death by His sacrifice on the cross. The victory belongs to CHRIST and HIM only. He doesn’t GIVE victory to any one of us.
He only allows us to experience HIS victory. And we can only do that as we surrender our own wills and submit our lives to Him. It is only as we walk next to Jesus that we get to enjoy His victory in our lives.
If you want to experience victory, DRAW CLOSE TO JESUS!!!
