‘Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent and believe in the gospel.”’ Mark 1:14-15
This word “REPENTANCE” has gotten a bad rap these days (if it is even considered at all). It has been too often used as a weapon of guilt to pummel ‘sinners.’ It makes us squirm uncomfortably in our chairs.
But it was central to the gospel message of Jesus Christ.

TRUE REPENTANCE (metanoeō in the Greek) means to ‘think differently,’ to change for the better…
TRUE REPENTANCE is to understand WHY you need to think differently and change direction based upon that understanding.
