What do you fear? What makes you anxious? What fills your thoughts in the quiet hours of your days?

Finances? Health issues? Relationship problems? Family? Politics?

When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, God’s comfort delights my soul. Psalm 94:19

You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; He is you help and your shield. Psalm 115:11

To “Fear the LORD” also means to WORSHIP the Lord.

In a way, we worship whatever we fear because we ascribe a lot of power and authority to whatever we are afraid of. We believe that it (whatever it is) has the power to hurt us so we are afraid of it.

But if we fear the LORD instead of things of this world, then we can have peace because we know God loves us, forgives us, and has a plan for us.

Take those fears and offer them to Jesus. He promises to carry them for you if you seek Him. Pray. Read His love letter to you, the Bible. Fellowship with other believers. Seek JESUS in those quiet hours of every day… and He will turn your darkness into light!
