New Painting Available! “He Lifted Me Out of the Pit”
The original 12″ x 12″ acrylic painting features Christ’s nail-pierced hand reaching down to save the one crying out to Him from the pit of despair. The points where Jesus’ hand touches the other hand have turned from blue despair, to golden joy.
This painting tells of my own story of struggle with suicidal depression and addiction. I often felt as if I was lost in a pit of despair filled with mud and mire. When I finally reached the end of myself, when I finally turned and cried out to Him, He immediately responded to me. He reached down and pulled me out of that pit with His love and compassion. He miraculously healed me of my addictions and depression. Today I am completely healed and filled with His joy. Thank You, Jesus!
