The fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil is pridefulness. The juice of it flows through the veins of every single one of us. It is this desire to fashion ourselves into our own god.
This fruit looks so delicious on the vine… a delight to the eyes, good for food (or so Eve thought)!
But it delivers a toxin resulting in death, separation from our Father God.
There is only one way to wash this toxin from our souls… through the divine cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ.
The more we seek Jesus with our entire heart, mind, soul and strength, the more we are purified. As we submit and surrender to Christ, we are set free from the poison of sin and death.
