It is impossible to understand how wonderful the Lord is until you dip your foot into His glory. You can’t just peek in from the outside and get it. His goodness must be tasted to comprehend. But once you get a taste of it, once you glimpse His amazing love, really feel it, you will want more. The first step is the only one that requires blind faith. Once you’ve begun the journey of seeking Him, little by little He reveals Himself to you. He slowly removes the human blinders. The deeper you journey into Him, the more He will spiritually bless you with joy, wisdom, understanding, peace… you will “not lack any good thing.” (v.10)

And that is what we are determined to do, as long as it takes for God to guide us to His new home for us. Our souls are waiting for the Lord, as David did in Psalm 33. We are waiting for His faithfulness. No matter how long this season may be, we trust in His holy name. And we will “WAIT!”

Caring for our children is the greatest responsibility God has given us. History is filled with examples of our gross mishandling of that duty. Even today there is a worldwide epidemic of child abuse, trafficking, murder, and abortion. How often I wish that God would wave His righteous hand and avenge the cries and blood of our children. But He doesn’t often work that way. This is OUR responsibility that He has given to US.

And it is finished! The battle is over! It is finished! There’ll be no more war! It is finished! The end of the conflict! It is finished and Jesus is Lord! He is Lord! He is Lord! He is Lord! Jesus is Lord!

This is what “soulmate” really means. There is no going back from this depth, no returning to the foul decaying treasures of this world. I’ve discovered something so infinitely better — this secret place of His presence. I want nothing more than to drown within this fantastic flood forever.

In the end it was the TRUTH that they killed him for… not the lies or false testimonies. It is the TRUTH that most stings Satan like acid in the face. It is the TRUTH that Satan calls “blasphemy.” He is still screaming “BLASPHEMY!” at Jesus today… from the lips of our news reporters, our music and Hollywood stars, our political leaders… Still they condemn Jesus, spit on Him, beat Him with their fists, slap Him in the face, and mock Him.

We are all Peter. None of us is capable of following Jesus faithfully, even those of us who REALLY want to… not even those of us who have committed our lives to Him and meant it! We mess up every day. We desperately need our Savior. Praise God for His gift of salvation and never-ending forgiveness!

God, only God, is my healing. Now after two decades, my relationship with Him continues to grow deeper, more magical, full of joy, wonder, and contentment. There is no end to His wonderful love. This is why my soul sings praise to Him and cannot be silent. I will give thanks to Him forever!

Today I have been completely healed from depression for over two decades. Today I live a wonderful life of deep gratitude for God’s miraculous healing. He gave me another chance and I don’t want to waste one minute. Today I joyfully say with David: “Sing praise to the LORD, you His godly ones, and praise the mention of His holiness. For His anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime; weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning!” Psalm 30:4-5
