When Adam & Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they didn’t really become like God. They only THOUGHT they had become like God when PRIDE entered their souls. We each still carry the DNA of that forbidden fruit within us and it is pridefulness… it is the idolatry of worshiping ourselves instead of our Father, the God who created us.
