Psalms 104
“All creatures look to You to give them their food at the proper time. When You give it to them, they gather it up; when You open Your hand, they are satisfied with good things. When You hide Your face, they are terrified; when You take away their breath, they die and return to the dust. When You send Your Spirit, they are created, and You renew the face of the ground.” Psalm 104:27-30
The earth is the LORD’s and ALL it contains. He created it ALL. He is not only OUR Father, but the Father of ALL the universe. All the creatures and plants on the earth, the earth itself, indeed the entire universe responds to GOD.
How small is man in the face of such a God? How utterly ridiculous it is for any human to think they have power or authority of any sort. ALL power and authority comes from GOD.
Pride is the most absurd thought any of us could possibly entertain. Yet it is the one sin we all must confront within ourselves. It is implanted within every one of us, handed down from generation to cursed generation all the way from Adam and Eve.
The internal fight against pride is the worthiest struggle. I pray for humility every day. God help me!
2 Corinthians 3
“We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.” 2 Corinthians 3:13-16
Our cursed flesh bodies and minds form a veil between us and God. It makes our minds dull. We cannot understand the truth of God unless the Holy Spirit opens our eyes by lifting the veil. The veil will never be completely removed while we are in these cursed bodies but when we seek God, the Holy Spirit will lift the veil a bit and teach us. When we spend time contemplating the Lord’s glory, the Holy Spirit slowly transforms us into the image of Jesus Christ, “with ever increasing glory.” (v.18) Transform me, LORD Jesus!!
2 Chronicles 36 – The Fall of Jerusalem
“The LORD, the God of their ancestors, sent word to them through His messengers again and again, because He had pity on His people and on His dwelling place. But they mocked God’s messengers, despised His words and scoffed at His prophets until the wrath of the LORD was aroused against His people and there was no remedy.” 2 Chronicles 36:15-16
I had a vision when I read this passage today… I had a vision of one of those big maps in malls that identify your location with an arrow and “You Are Here.” In my vision, an arrow pointed to 2 Chronicles 36 and said “WE ARE HERE.”
If you want to know what is happening in our world today, read 2 Chronicles 36. We are on the precipice of God removing His protection from our country as He removed it from Judah.
God has been sending word to us through His messengers again and again. He has been giving people visions, prophetic words, and dreams. Many of us are waking up, falling to our knees and begging God for mercy. But most of us are being mocked, despised, and scoffed at, even by much of the church. So many “leaders of the priests and the people [have become] more and more unfaithful, following all the detestable practices of the nations and defiling the temple of the LORD…” (v.14)
The destruction of our temples has already begun. The exiles and the slaughters have started. God’s angels of destruction have been released.
God is calling on His remnant to pray for help and mercy. Pray, those who still believe, PRAY with me for God’s grace and mercy. Pray that we may soon be able to enter His Sabbath rests again. Pray for Him to send another King Cyrus who will allow us to rebuild our temples to God.
I do believe God will deliver us some day, some how. But deliverance usually only comes through fire. And the fires have already been lit. Some of us have been praying for deliverance for years. My visions began in August 2019. For two years now I have been having visions every week where God takes my spirit to heaven where I pray with all the saints for the world.
We are all tired and weary. But we have to keep praying and crying out to God. The only reason He waits to deliver us is to give more people time to come to Him. He tarries because He loves us.
