The most valuable result of this is that we are able to witness how they respond to the calling out…
Their RESPONSE is more important than the sin itself. Do they double down and attack back? Do they offer insincere apologies? Or do they truly repent?
King David sinned much worse than King Saul ever did. But when he was called out, he truly repented.
